This is one of the best hacks I have seen for perfectly slicing hard boiled eggs. Separating the yolk from the egg white just became an effortless task.

Place a peeled, hard boiled egg on the surface of your cutting board.
Take a sharp chef's knife and, starting from the handle end of the knife, insert the knife into the top centre of the egg. Now, gently roll the egg until it cuts all the way around, keeping the knife just at the surface of the egg so it doesn't cut all the way through.
Now, you should be able to gently separate the egg white halves from the perfectly intact yolk.
