What you need

oz ground lamb

tbsp olive oil

tsp table salt

clove garlic clove

onion

cup plain yogurt
tsp sweet paprika
Instructions
0 Preheat oven to 400F. 1 Add the ground meat to a bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Mix well. 2 Divide the meat mixture in half. 3 Take a sheet of parchment paper and place one half of the mixture in the middle. 4 Note: Keep a small bowl of water (or oil) nearby to dip your fingers — it helps keep the meat from sticking. 5 Press and spread the meat into a thin, even rectangle. 13 Starting from the long side, fold the parchment over the meat repeatedly until you reach the end and it looks like a flat rope. 7 Repeat this step for the second portion of meat. 8 Place the meat rolled in parchment on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) until cooked through, about 40 minutes. 9 Remove from the oven, let the rolls cool slightly, then carefully unroll and break the meat apart. 10 Squeeze a touch of fresh lemon juice over the top and pop it back in the oven until lightly golden and slightly crisp. 11 Enjoy the doner in a pita or a bowl topped with lettuce, pickles, tomato, red onion, and garlic sauce. 12 Tip: you can use store-bought garlic sauce or toum. Feel free to make your own by mixing yogurt with salt, garlic, and mayo.View original recipe
